September Essentials (and an apology)

To start, I am so incredibly sorry for my lack of concern for my blog. I have been swamped with both school and softball. The shortened version of my last three weeks of college goes a little something like this:

1. I decided to change my major from Finance to Public Relations with a minor in Political Science

2. Softball workouts daily have been the death of my legs, arm, and brain.

3. Rekindling friendships I left over the summer has consumed my already scarce spare time.

I hope you will all bear with me as I am completely starting over with my college courses while also working out to become a better softball player and a better person, as a whole. So, without further ado, here is the main reason for my blog post!

1. Cropped Leather Jacket: Leather jackets, especially the cropped one linked above, are so versatile especially in the fall! Whether you want to dress up or dress down, throwing on a cropped leather jacket can either make your outfit casual or a bit more chic! 

2. Boyfriend Jeans: These speak for themselves in my opinion. This pair of jeans is an essential year round! 

3. Mac Pro Longwear Lip Liner: In the shade Be Spoken For.. Three words. YOU MUST HAVE.

4. Nine West Tan Booties: I love pairing my tan booties with black or blue jeans! Definitely chic yet casual as well!

. Kendra Scott Elle Earrings: IN BLACK IRIDESCENT! A MUST HAVE!

6. J. Crew Quilted Vest: In Herringbone... C'mon everyone you need it don't even. :)

7. Forever 21 Black and White Flannel: TIP: Order a size or two up in Flannels so you can not only wear it comfortably, but you can also layer it over a t-shirt and look adorable!

The Red White and Blue

Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays! The weather is typically amazing and I love the Red, White, and Blue! 

Since it is hotter than anything in July, I decided to wear a halter tank top and light-weight shorts from J. Crew! I paired a bright red lip for my makeup and I also decided to wear my Ray Bans, of course.

I found that Sephora Passion Red Lipstick has a longer wear time than Mac's Red, as well! It lasted for hours and I only reapplied once during the day!

I absolutely adore all white with a pop of color for summer! It is so chic looking and I got tons of compliments at brunch and church on Sunday! My summer go-to has definitely been this Kimono and I am obsessed with it! But, unfortunately, it is sold out :( 

The all white look is a risky wear because of stains but I really just adored it all day! It kept me cool in the heat of south Florida (which is so vital due to the scorching weather)

Undoubtedly, this summer my go-to street style will be anything lightweight! Hence, my obsession with t-shirt dresses! These dresses are so easy to dress up or dress down, and that is definitely one of the top reasons I enjoy them so wholeheartedly! 

Overall, I am totally in love with anything light-weight for this record breaking heat weather down here in South Florida! It is crazy how hot it is all the time!

Shift, I love!

I wore this amazing Lilly Pulitzer for Target Shift dress for my birthday last month and I am still not over how perfect it is! The colors are so amazingly vibrant and the pattern is so beautiful! 

I paired this wonderful dress with my favorite Steve Madden wedges and my two favorite Kate Spade bangles! (Not pictured my brown Steve Madden cross body purse)

What's in the bag!

Excited is an understatement about what lies in this bag! My mom treated me to my first ever Kate Spade handbag this weekend, and I could not be more grateful for her! After an hour of debating between two bags and having the entire floor of saleswomen help me (haha if that doesn't scream indecisive I don't know what does), I chose this absolutely stunning bag!

I cannot wait to wear it everyday with all of my outfits! This bag is even more stunning in person! Ahhhh is all I have to say!

I have always absolutely loved Daniela's style, so I figured it would be a total necessity to do a combined post with her! We figured we could do casual day to night summer styles! 

So for my look I decided to go with a bright pink halter top from Francesca's, light wash ripped jeans from J.Crew, Steve Madden Wedges, and Ray Bans! This outfit is not only perfect for the heat of summertime, but it is also perfect for a casual day out on the town!

 For my accessories, I decided to spice up my already bright top with a teal Kendra Scott necklace! For my bracelets I decided to wear my gold Alex and Ani's (my obsession), and my Marc Jacobs watch!

Overall, I loved my outfit! It is so comfortable and chic! Bright colors are perfect for the summer months, and so are light tank tops and super pink lips!

p.s. I HIGHLY recommend the Show Orchid lipstick from MAC! It has an amazing color, texture, and it is long-lasting!

• Perfect for a cover up on the beach or a casual dress for a night out on the town! I love tunic's for their versatility

6. Sleeveless Print Dress

• So comfortable with a fun print for casual wear or even dress it up!

7. Scalloped Bikini Set 

• I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS SET! The scallops are a perfect touch for a bikini!
